BBYI APPRECIATION FOR YOUTH TRAINING

In March 2021, SMD Consulting Associates was honoured to provide personal branding training for a small group of youth across the country. The training, part of a mentorship programme, was spearheaded by Breaking Barrier Youth Initiative (BBYI), a budding not-for-profit organization (NGO) dedicated to empowering the youth in Kenya.

On 11th May 2021, SMD Consulting Associates received a certificate of appreciation from Katile Mutuku, Founder and Director of BBYI for its participation in the training. In her email address to the firm, she said, “We would like to take this opportunity to offer our gratitude for gracing our virtual BBYI Interview Skills Training. We were able to train and impact four people to completion and are now on the pilot practical training before they can be able to train others and impact more lives.”

The training was done on 20th January 2021 via Zoom and the cohort graduated in May 2021 after receiving training from other trainers who were handling different modules. The firm is delighted and is open to partnering with BBYI and like-minded organizations in future youth empowerment programmes.
